ABOUT IN JACOB’S SHOES
IN JACOB’S SHOES,® was formed in the loving memory of 17-year-old Jacob S. Zweig who was killed on November 15, 2008. A 501(c)(3) based in Margate, Florida, the charity provides shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and athletic gear to homeless kids, those living in shelters, and youth who have aged out of foster care. Since 2009, In Jacob’s Shoes has been addressing these issues and has provided over 135,000 pairs of new and refurbished shoes, 16,000 pairs of socks, and 9,000 backpacks complete with school supplies for children in need living in Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade Counties.
